Refund and cancellation policy
Every Outvers experience has a named cancellation preset: Flexible, Moderate, Strict or Non-cancellable. The preset is fixed when you book and shown on the experience page, at checkout and on your booking confirmation. The refund is worked out from the preset, when you cancel and what you paid. No one reviews it inside the policy window.
Refund calculator
See your exact refund before you book
Enter a booking total, pick the preset, and choose when you would cancel. We run the same refund calculation the money path uses — so the figure here is the figure you would get.
Enter an amount and both dates to see your refund.
Where the refund lands
An eligible refund goes back automatically to the payment method you paid with — card, UPI or net banking. Banks usually show it within 5–7 working days.
The three presets
| Preset | Full refund up to | 50% refund up to | After that |

Special cases
- Partner-cancelled bookings
- If a partner cancels — weather, equipment failure, staffing — you receive a 100% refund regardless of preset. The partner's response score takes a hit.
- Bookings outside the policy window
- If you cancel after the experience start time, the cancellation opens a dispute. Our support team decides; declined by default except in clear partner-fault cases.
- Custom policies
- A small number of high-altitude expeditions and festival-day experiences have a Custom policy with non-refundable permits or guide deposits. These are approved by Outvers at listing time and shown in plain language on the experience page.
When you'll see the money
When you cancel inside the policy window, we send your refund back to your original payment method automatically — there is nothing to claim. Banks usually show it within 5–7 working days.
